La Bienal de Arte Textil (BAT) es un evento bienal con el propósito principal de promover, valorar y generar un diálogo en torno a las artes visuales y el arte textil, tanto a nivel nacional (Chile) como internacional.
La BAT busca promover el arte textil como una forma de expresión artística contemporánea, explorando sus diversas técnicas, materiales y enfoques. Además, fomenta el intercambio cultural y artístico entre creadores de diversos contextos, contribuyendo al reconocimiento y aprecio de esta disciplina a nivel local, regional y global. Para lograr esto, la bienal reúne a artistas nacionales e internacionales.
